So glad you went to the Dr. ! Those spiders are scarry.
I know what Macy means. We lost my dear cat 4 years ago but I got another one soon because our other cat was looking for him all over the house. I made me even sadder when i heard the cat calling for his friend. The "new" cat wasn't a replacement just different buddy. They are all so unique.

You guys are killin me! I want a Serama...won't be so easy here... two big boy cats and a little girl Siamese/calico that was legendary as a hunter when she was an outdoor cat. She scarred a bus full of kids one day; bus had to stop as she was crossing the road, coming from the woods, dragging a rabbit just as big as she was! We kept a kill count of all the birds and such that she left by the back door. Apparently blue birds are extra delicious because she never shared them. She also beat up a big Huskey that was fighting with "her" dog.

Is there a room like a computer room that the door's normally shut to where you could keep one? I remember having to get pretty dang inventive the past 6 yrs when our Dove was inside the house, hanging his cage from the ceiling, etc. I've got lots of dogs and 4 cats. We finally ended up putting the Dove in a spare room my husband used for his computers and re-loading stuff. After we got the RV and I moved my computer stuff into it life got a lot easier for the Dove getting to live in here

That's where my Serama is also.

We put BillyClyde in our bathroom when our daughter is here, which is monday afternoon through thursday morning. Then we move him to the guest room. He is absolutely not allowed out of the cage unless I'm right there. I'm right there allot though because I love holding him and playing with him LOL We have 3 cats and 3 dogs. Only our poodle and one of the cats even seem interested in him.

My cats are fairly indifferent to the mini roo. At first they were all curious now they think he is a putts. Stella loves him, she sits there giving him cow eyes and licking his wattles and butt. Needless to say he does not like to have his butt licked. He is rather partial to kisses and cuddling. Very friendly little chap. He hates to be left in his cage when I am home and is only happy when he is sitting on my lap. I love this little guy.

Custard turned out really good, but I don't think it was any better then w/o the tapioca, so probably not worth the extra carbs and calories to add the tapioca.
