My DS, 3.5 yo, watches the Australian group for kids "the wiggles" on Nik jr. I'll never be able to look at my "waffles" again without laughing! Do you think I could talk Poco into making different colored t-shirts for the four?

LOL, I think the Wiggles are what I was thinking about!!!!

Yeah matching shirts!

Robin It wouldn't affect me then because I am OG&E. (Hope you guys get it back soon.) I snapped my fingers & there ya go (If only)

Hers an ideal if you have ducks and want to use those deep rubber tubs,if they are to tall for the ducks to get in ,cut holes in a pallet and it makes it more accessible!

Nana, those drawings are wonderful. That's my favorite part about planning pens is drawing it out and changing it and re-drawing. Must be the Capricorn in me. You may've have started something here. And it all started with one free bird that a very smart enabler gave you. And by the way, I adore Cornish. I've got the 2 Dark Cornish bantams right now and am seriously considering more. It would be nice to find some standard Cornish for the layers yard, I've got more than enough room there. The only Oklahoma person I've heard of with standard Cornish has a disgust of people who keep chickens as pets. So I'll have to look elsewhere, he wouldn't sell any to me if I told him I wanted them for layer and pets, but that's ok. I certainly don't want to order from a hatchery and be forced into 15 birds when I only want 3 or 4.
BFrancis-thanks for the pictures of your Waffles

You mean to tell me Belgium d'Anver come in pretty colors PLUS their bearded??? I'm going to go find out what colors the hens come in. I'd be just as thrilled with Bantam Easter Eggers if I could find them though.
Okla, my husband's been collecting pallets for me from different warehouses that are going to trash them. I've been trying to figure out how on earth to stop this one particular group of birds from dumping their food and water all over as soon as I put it in there. The pallet idea is perfect, I'm going to get on that right today, thank you, sir. I love that idea. and that Pigeon Stink Eye says it all.

Got to come home yesterday after my surgery. I think this knee is going to eal faster than the first one. I've finally caught up on readin and am going to bed now.

Michael - I'm so sorry to hear about the losses in your family. My condolences to you and your family.

Sixshooter60 - those are neat looking quail eggs. Bfrancis has a good eye and found the little one coming out of its shell. I may not have noticed that if he hadn't mentioned it. It looks like in there were several others pipping, too. How many have hatched now?

Nanakat - your broodie Lucie is a doll! From just looking at your plans, it looks like your birds will have a nice place to call home soon. I saw the black Minorca you posted the other day. She's pretty! I'm always on the lookout for another one or two of those.

bfrancis - all of your birds are beautiful! I'm not familiar with Icelandics, but they are good looking birds. Your Seramas are gorgeous, too. I have a few extras if you need to add to your flock.

BetsyOK - I didn't know you were having knee surgery, but glad you're home now. Hope you heal quickly.
