***OKIES in the BYC III ***

My wife has decided to let go of this pair of silkied seramas. They are a little big but nice birds. If anyone is interested, pm me. I will be putting them on CL tomorrow. They are a blue wheaten in color.

(Carl, I decided not to spend the $64 right now to order the Faverolles eggs. She said to contact her when I was ready in a few wks so that's the plan)

There is an auction on BYC I am keeping an eye on. If it doesn't get to high I would like to bid on it, but have no incubator or hatching experience. Even if I had an incubator these eggs will be pricy (by my standards) so I would rather someone who knows what their doing hatches them. Anyway if I win this auction (big if right now) would anyone be able to hatch them for me? They would be shipped on the 3rd of Jan.? There would be 12 eggs (possibly a couple more but unlikely)

Hi Betsy,
Actually I am going to have to rebuild both of my brooders since they were both broken. Going to scavenge parts from the broken ones to build the new ones. The main thing you need to build a brooder out of a steralite container is a wood burning tool or soldering iron. With a soldering iron you can get a more detail and make finer cuts. The brooders have been an evolution in process and I finally know how I am going to build the new ones that will be more functional and easier to clean. I will take pictures as I build the next one so everyone can see what I did, why I did it and how.
Also if anyone would like to have plans I will see what I can do to draw some up.

Now it's just a price waiting game. The auction ends in 3 days so I'll know for sure by then if I got them or not.

Evening Everyone!

Sent my DD back to the medical ward for injured basic trainees. It was so hard to do, she is hurting, depressed, is sad because she is not going to be able to finish training and does not know when she is going to be back home. It was difficult to keep her up beat in light of the situation because I miss her so much and am so worried about.

Okay I will quite venting about my kid. Sorry just a bit sad myself today.

I would like to see your plans on the brooders, we haven't got our system worked out yet.
