Tony, aren't they the most hilarious looking birds????

Here's Channing's new digs, his $3 auction cage. He's very proud of it and feels quite privileged. I love this little guy.
Man, it got COLD the past few hours. I'm with Okla-I wish winter would hurry up and get here and go on it's way so I can get to building pens.

I must start going to auctions! my seramas want cages like that!!! my joe is a happy guy, he gets his pets and cuddles, and his lady....

Okay Cjarvis I will take a pic of the hamburgs tomorrow. Good looking little game fellow. I agree they do look funny no mater what they are doing. But they sure are cute.

Kasne reckon that perch is stout enough to hold up Channing!lol Good looking cage,I could use that with my parakeets and finches. Don't find them at that price very often!

Good deal, it's always nice to see some variety in the pics, and the yard.

I got three eggs from my Dominiques today. I guess they were tired of my nagging. Now I just need my really heavy birds to see that it's okay to use the nest box. I've got four cornish and a cornishXwRock who sit in front of the nest box and chatter for hours, and now and then one leaves me an egg when the group disbands, but for some reason they don't want to sit inside the box. I've got a plastic shoe storage box, which is very long, so I'll fill that with shavings tomorrow and put it into the pen to see if what they're wanting is a community nest.

Anyone else have high winds tonight? I took down two old tarps around noon. If I'd left them up they'd be in Kansas right now. DH is driving his Honda Insight home from work, late, since he's teaching the high school group at church tonight. The Insight weighs about as much as a moped. I hope he manages without incident.

Robin, Emily looks so sweet staring down at the little chick, is that her chick?
I took this picture of Hattie (the girl I got from you) sitting on her eggs today. She'll put the fear of God into ya if you even think about bothering her eggs :)
Edit: Poco, the winds are bad here. I hope your husband hangs on tight.

Poco I hope your DH gets home safe! Someone sure turned on the north wind, it was amazing how quickly the temp dropped. Not looking forward to the morning since I have to feed before work. I didn't make it home in time tonight.

Yep, the wind got turned up all over the state, temps are on thier way down.. quickly and will not be a pleasant day tomorrow. I will be out giving sweet grain and corn chops to the birds had soem pullets that I had moved outside had to move back in to make sure they do ok. Now just ahve to get the waterers and feed ready tomorow is that day anyway.

Yes next week does look better! I am like Wayne, I either want winter or spring, back & forth is killing me.

I have my cookie Tin heaters already out there but not plugged in so that is easy for me. Too much running around or I would of got home to make sure everyone was fed.

I am working on this computer, it is still having trouble with the website.......can't get a picture to load
