***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Thanks Nana and Cathie- i just can't figure out what may have caused it, she was kept in a pen next to the banties, so she had company without risking her back- no mites, lice etc, no discharge...guess its one of those unknown- cathie, sorry about your guinea, i adore mine-

Sorry about your loss.

Ok I am bored. CityClucks & Okla-Doodle in the front. NNbreeder in the back left, grey shirt. Greybear at the table in the black shirt, tan hat......I'm not positive but that may be cubanlongtail talking to him.

that is I sitting there with my arms crossed. probably wondering were my rooster was hiding.

The cross breeds are to improve laying in the Cochin and improve the mothering in the Australorp. Crossing the CW and the Cochin with the breeds should do that. My laying flock is already two years old. This should also increase the size of the meat birds. (Australorp, Delaware, Black Sexlink, RIR New Hampshire I added CW and SLW and Minorcas this last year.

I love the Columbian Wyandottes and have a Blue Wyandotte...trying for a nice Blue Columbian (right Carl?)

Then I've gotten fond of the Cochins and since I have a Blue hen and the Blue rooster...hoping to expand there in pure bred. That's why I bought the Cochin eggs from Iowa...need more hens to get more lovely babies. This should help get enough to sell some.

if you get some extra roos i know several folks that want some. - they will probably take the girls too. LF Cochins seem very popular this year. Last year it was NNs.

this has been one of THOSE days....
I was holding my noel, a special needs silky, (from Betsy) she began breathing hard- went into convulsions and was gone...... such a special girl. I am thankful i had time to hold her in her last moments- am clueless as to what happened- she had wrytail, but nothing else i could see.....

So Sorry.

You can take Hwy 39 west thru Dibble to Highway 76, go north to 150th, go west and follow the curve to the north which is now County Line. The auction is about 3 miles north of 150th, you will cross 2 small bridges, 2nd bridge has a weight restriction of 21 tons on it, the auction barn is just north of that bridge on the right side.

Or you can take Hwy 76 to Hwy 62, go west about 1/2 mile to County line, go south at the rodeo grounds. it is about a mile and 1/4 south of Hwy 62.

Newcastle should be having a auction this weekend if they finished the remodel. It is at the AG Barn on highway 62. Take I-35 to Hwy 9 west to Hwy 62, exit north and go about 3 miles and the auction is on the wast side just north of the park.

Actually the best Dr. out there is Doctor Demento!!!

That brings back memories! When I lived in Japan Demento was on Armed Forces Radio and I never missed a show. Sometimes I would be riding the train into the heart of Tokyo and it would be such a surreal experience to be in a big crowd with his playlist playing in my earphones!

LOVED the Dr. Demento show! Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, ..... was my favorite song. It was also on the Monty Python show. Dr. Demento used to come on the radio here in the evenings. I had a transistor radio (back when FM was just coming into vogue) and listened to the show when it was on. I want to say Saturday or Sunday evenings, not sure though. His signature sign-on : and this is Dr. Dementooooooooo......! Funny stuff - takes me back a ways...

Aaaww, I'm sorry :( But what a lucky girl that she got you for an owner. It always makes me feel better when an animals dies when I'm holding it. That way it can feel cared about right to the end.

This! I love the name Chamberlain,it's perfect :)
