awe she knows you love that little feather baby, I am sure she isn't upset with you. I will keep my eyes open for a white ameraucana. Although I am not sure I could pick out an Ameraucana vs. an EE lol. You have a good heart and have been so gracious to let others have birds for free. I know I love the 3 guineas we got from you (even the one that never shut up she has a man now and is much quieter, lol).

I've still got the other female here that I had thought was a male or she'd already be at your house. Anytime you're ready I'll trade you for one of your males. I'd like to have one here as company to my 12 yr old Guinea.

Ok, guys, I suck. I've placed more than a few chicks (and my turks) recently and have placed adults-no problem. But I placed the cockerel from my very 1st hatch (that I'm obviously overly attached to) and felt sick ever since. Rebecca has graciously agreed to let me have him back. I know she's been looking and looking for a white Ameraucana hen (preferably) or roo, not an Easter Egger but an actual Ameraucana. If anyone has one or knows of one for sale please let me know.I'd like to buy it for her to make up for this whole mess. Surely someone somewhere has one.
So....if you will, help me make this up to Rebecca. And go ahead and tell me how bad I suck, I deserve it.

I bet we could work that out we have one male that is getting the tar kicked out of him everytime he leaves the pen. I ended up putting him with 6 red sexlink chicks but we sold those last night so he is lonely. I will tell hubby to leave him penned up and we will work out a time to swap quineas! LOL

Mitzi I think you could just stud the roo out to Rebecca. I bet a couple months use is all she needs.
I have found my self missing the peacock a few times. But been working on planning the duck pond that will be in their cage soon. I know come June when my ducks arrive I will have long forgotten the peafowl. I no longer have any fish tanks so the duck pond will be my outdoor tank. I am up for the challenge of finding plants & possibly some large fish & snails that the ducks won't devour.
It will be an interesting project.

Cowboy just locked down your NN eggs!!!! DD will be thrilled to have more blue chicks running around.

Cathie if the guineas don't hatch this time around you know there will be more eggs to practice with! After you finish fireworks season you can hatch away.

Haha! Just like they do with horses & goats? lol Her breeding pens aren't quite ready yet anyway, however I have been begging her to let me hatch her some eggs from any of my Cochins and and any Ameraucanas I can find. I love this whole hatching thing but not the chick-raising for months afterwards.

I hear babies in the hatcher! I moved forty little one outside today, so there will be plenty of room in the garage brooders for the new chicks.

Here's my Easter hatch. Most of these little sweeties will be coming to POOPS.


I watched my Buff Catalana cockerels play today. One gets comfy and the other pounces on him. This is pre-pounce. This kept up for about five minutes, until the cockerel wanting to rest got tired of his nuisance brother and went inside the coop.

Yep, and you better believe once fireworks are over we will be hatching away!!! Well I think that week after fireworks we have to take Nathanael to see his transplant team. Was supposed to go in May but I just can't get away from work for a whole week in May. They said July would be fine unless he has any major bumps in the road. But hey I can always set eggs before we leave, lol.

Oakieridge I have heard that one of the best liver clinics is in Dallas. Is that where you go? I am going to do my best to get referred some where else when I get my next cat scan in a few months.
Tricare has a crazy rule that for all referrals you must be seen within 30 days so I struggle finding a place I can get in to.
