I think that is a silver partridge. I got a silver one off Betsy and she had an adult that had the brown and silver and said it was silver partridge. Correct me if I am wrong as I am not a pro on the matter.

lol well I was right on the partridge part. Betsy and I posted at same time I guess. Ok back to the garden I go. Came in to cool down a bit before pulling more weeds!

They have a goat sale in Perry at the fairgrounds on Thur eve, and I think the goat sale on hiway 33 just west of Perkins about 3 or 4 miles is on the first and third Sat of the month, always lots of goats there and I think it starts at 7pm, not been in a while, if you want to go and want company holler at me, i'll meet you there!!! Good Morning Okie friends~

Just taking a few minutes to give a big pat on the back to Coral! You have no ideal what it takes to put something together like this, it is a time consuming, labor intensive process. You did a great job & you deserve to be congratulated. There are always bumps in the road when you put an event together~ you did a great job. I won't comment on anyone that has negative things to say because if they aren't willing to put the time & effort into making an event they keep it to them self's.

One thing I would like to ask & please respond by PM also since I don't spend as much time here. Did the raffle/sale cover the cost of the building? If it did not I would like to make a donation towards the costs.

Got some de avers from bill at the meet and i just love them. The hen is just so sweet. My two year old gets her out and holds her. He loves her so much he gives her kisses. I have gotten two eggs from her thus far. thanked her last night by treating them with melon rind. If you scratch her belly she closes her eyes and cuddles down.

I'm working on naming my bantams. So far I've named the little blue pullet and the buff rooster. Edit: I think I have names for the two buff hens and the black silkie now. Trying one on the faverolles for size too. I'm not naming the guineas, except for George, of course. My Dominique roo will get a name, and any good broodies. The other hens won't get names unless they distinguish themselves somehow.

Has anyone seen the posts on Craigslist about the Blanchard auction? I have been searching for 20 mins to find anything to back up what they are saying but can't find anything. It needs to be flagged if they are spreading false rumors.
