I was just looking at that and trying to see if anyone had made a guess as to what breed it is, I believe that is a lost Homing Pigeon. Just looking at the head and body shape, built for speed. The leg band probably won't tell you much most bands are only usefull to the breeder. It does tell you that someone raised that bird and its not a common pigeon. I would catch it and call Mike D and get a few more to match it then you'll be in the pigeon buisness.
Look on the band. Is it plastic, or alluminum with plastic cover. If it is AU it is racing homer for sure. If not it will still have a letter on it. Look on some web page that sales pigeon seamless bands (foy's) and see what letter yours corrosponds with and will tell you if it is a racing pigeon or other breed.

Good looking pair there Guy....that cockbird is asil x game ? Isnt Law Grey American Game?
Yes sir as American as apple pie. He is the only asil grade I own. I have them together to get a little size to them. He is fast as they come, but wish he was a hair bigger. Just another one of those pens u throw together for grins. May all end up in the freezer time they get mature, one never knows. Guy
To everybody that asked about the saipan hen I bought at Fletcher, here she is with her rooster. Boles asil x Law grey. http://i56.tinypic.com/2qb4or9.jpg
Thought I was going to feed kiddos lunch and head to blanchard but unfortunately. Montana decided that we would sit in the emergency room instead. He sandwhiched his pinky finger in our double doors.

Beautiful, but glad he is out of your yard. How are you going to release him? (obviously very carefully)
Snake Tongs LOL I won't release this one I'll preserve the skin maybe I have way too many of these around my yard so I just dispatch them and the pigmy rattlers I catch out here every year
I've always thought copperheads were beautiful. Have only handled one. It was a small one and it was a very cold early spring day--don't know why it was even out; it moved very slowly. That looks like a big one. The only ones I've seen have been fairly small.
