***OKIES in the BYC III ***

So my day is turning out very well. Got the paint needed for my coop. Plus i want to give a big thanks to jan for the orpingtons. I will be giving them to my mom. When i mentioned i was picking them up you should have herd her excitement. Had a snack now if off to work on coops i go.

Thank you, too Mamapoppybee. It is amazing, the girls are very sweet little birds. Hope the reds made it OK, they were acting crazier than I have ever seen! Think it was the heat and maybe they knew they wouldn't be back in their humble little coop and run. Don't know... Hope Oakieridge likes them. The bigger of the two is Hannah and the smaller red girl is Alma (not that they come when I call their names, but they do pay attention when I offer them a handful of meal worms!).

I got home and made sure everyone had plenty of water and could see one of my hens looked like she was expired in an area that I couldn't quite reach so I got the long tongs and tried to drag her out she threw a fit and so did her new babies LOL I don't know how many she has or where she had hidden the nest even, later when it cools off a bit I'll see how many and since I have some coming out of the bator today I might give her a few more :)
Hope everyone is staying cool

The deer netting around the grow out pens is awesome. This was what I found a few moments ago. DD caught & dispatched him.... She loves killing snakes that are after her birds & eggs.
