***OKIES in the BYC III ***

MacGuyver a question on your last post, say that does happen and you elect to use the Denagard rather then culling heavily, the birds have still been exposed don't they still carry and possibly infect new birds???

LOL.. Let me put it this way, they will come up around my feet. and circle me. My neighbors Guineas Will get close enough that you might be able to see them with a pair of binoculars. :) He asks what I do to get them to trust me and get so close, I told him I go out every evenning with them and socialize. He just lets them free roam and they are WILD!

When I had guineas before I would throw them scratch and they would all gather round my feet. Still couldn't pick them up though. The ones I have now are skittish, but I'm hoping that treats will bring them around.

Long day ... long week. Spent three days volunteering for church vbs only to be screamed at tonight by one woman who was screaming at the kids too. I just walked away and won't make the mistake of volunteering to help her again. Next time I'll work in the kitchen or something.

Well, the ducks have been funny. Usually when we open their pen we have to literally run them out of it to graze or they'll just stay in the corner or in their pond even with the gate wide open, but today we opened the gate and out they ran straight to the asparagus bed and then on to the wet area to play in the mud. Our khaki campbell decided it would be great fun to chase our silkie bantam around the yard however, our silkie bantam decided it would be more fun to challenge said duck. Neither of them touched one another but it was bizarre to watch. We were wondering in the end what had gotten put in our ducks water.

Got most of the fall garden planted yesterday. Tomatoes are still inside though. Not feeling well though so they may have to wait a few days to get planted.

Night all.
