***OKIES in the BYC III ***

i would like to see them bring Romana back, she was a time Lord, got left in an alternate universe- so is probably out there too...:)
I love Romana. If you listen to the BFA dramas though, Romana returned to normal space and was actually made president of the High Council. She kicked serious tail too. I'm holding out hope that we see the Rani return. I would really like to see her again. Of course at this rate, that Time Lock is starting to look like a wet paper bag! :)

Thought I'd share a few chick pics from yesterday.

Reba my only red NN, she has started saying cute light brown eggs, she is going to make some pretty chicks.

Mensa is a female NN from an Arkansas bycer hatched by poco. She is very smart and queen of her little world

Mensa

This is the one little potentially scaleless NN poco hatched for me from Joe's eggs

One of the naked hoodas, they are getting big

My female houdan, she is getting big and sassy.

The male houdan, he is very small, hoping he catches up, the araucana is getting bigger then him right now

The little araucana boy, he is getting his fiery colors (hopefully he will look like his dad) he is double tufted and rumpless

Kass your flock looks great.

Sadly with the heat our NNs decided to throw off the rest of their clothes and are running around virtually naked. Nothing in this world can compare with a NN in full molt! And that is about the only thing that will stop them from laying too.

Had to post about the eggs i bot at Newcastle sat ...pickled qwail eggs that said Stoney creek farm's i got thim out to open an all most gave up the seal was so tiet MAN was they good bread an butter is wat it said on the jar ,,,I bot some that did not say any thing on thim but hot an i gave thim to my grandad he liked thim an said his mouth was still on fire..///

Took our last 2 hatches of keets & threw them in a pen that has 3 hens who insist on having babies. They each have a few babies but fuss & fight over them. Now they should have more than enough. They all seem to be getting along well. The real test will be tonight, have to watch & see if the momma hens will keep the babies warm.
Had a good day @ the market. Then came home to make some mild cowboy candy. Did 3/4 sweet peppers & 1/4 hot peppers. Think the kids should even be able to eat it now. Before with only hot peppers it was too much heat for most people. Maybe my sante fe peppers are hotter than jalapeños? Tomorrow I am going to make a quick run up to Blanchard to buy 4 more flats of tomato plants for the fall. I have enough row cover that hopefully I can keep them going until late November. This yr tomatoes have thrived so well I want to do my best to keep them going & would like a 2 yrs stash of tomatoes, sauces & salsa. Last yr dwindled my stock pile away drastically!
Hope everyone gets a chance to see a few showers tomorrow & the weather guy isn't just teasing us!
