***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I just realized that the temp outside has gone up to 102 so I'm not going to put animals through that it's too much for them to be in a small cage for several hours so maybe I'll try to make the sale in a couple weeks, I was sure hoping we had seen the last of the really hot weather, I don't recall seeing any triple digits in the forecasts over the last several days I'm starting to think they do it the same way I do I look outside and if it's wet I know there's rain....

I think you're right ... Lol. But the 7 day looks like it will be cooling down again by next weekend. I hope they're right. My fall garden was just starting to set fruit and I can't afford to not harvest this fall like I did this summer. Potato soup and boiled eggs will get real old in the middle of winter.

Thanks, Poco......Yes, I remember Joe's naked bird from last year. I thought that's what they are. I don't know if they are cute/ugly or ugly/cute, but you could hire me to hand feed them treats all day long. I'd work real cheap.

Great pics Kass! Morning Glories are one of my all time favorite flowers!

NanaKat I have two Pecan trees and they both dropped their leaves in order to survive the drought, no Pecans for me this year.

Elwood, great job on the net!

Ksane, good looking birds....I love the close up shot of the roo!

After about a 3 year break, Roosters are crowing on my yard again! :)

Wanted to say hello to everybody. With school starting for my little boy and many other irons on the fire I haven't been keeping up. I am loving my two NN's. They are getting so big. Kass I am sorry about the loss of your biological mother and your G-ma. I know that is a bit late.

June! Hi!

Elbert, I just love your chicken building. I'm counting up the tin panels and wood and fencing and I know it cost a lot. But oh how I'd love to have one like it.

Joe - Thanks for commenting on the photos. I was hoping to hear that that white hatchling was a carrier of the scaleless gene. Does Dr. Bramwell sell hatching eggs from the university flocks? If you're headed to the university in the spring, and Dr. Bramwell has NN eggs available, I sure would like to have some.
