***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Bill - I just wanted to share with you that we moved our pigs last night :p Mind you I am now 8 months pregnant and I had to sit on a pot belly pig..... Anyway, I completely understand why you were late when I met you to pick them up now :) HAHAHA Chris and I were both covered in pig **** by the end of it :p I'll try to post a pic of the buggers later!
That would be a clip for Youtube!

Oh my oceans. You wrestle pigs & turtles?? Oh my!!

Yes Robin, Bambi is something else. DH set & watched her today to see how he could redo the fencing to prevent her jumping. He decided no fixes, she will do anything to get out. Crazy thing is she just started getting out this wk. Think our buck getting killed by the dog contributed to her new need for our companionship.

i think you are right- she is lonely- maybe get her a friend??

just got back from meeting mitzi who brought Ebony and JEt to me- my gosh they are smaller than a cockatiel!

New to BYC, had to show you all our progress for today..

My dad (deceased) had a wood shop and my mom lets the family use it as we need to. Very thankful for that. Husband did a great job on these!

How are they doing, Robin?? They're both adorable but that little boy stole my heart. Such a sweetheart.
We tried to leave the Green Country Swap early enough to miss the storm but ended up driving through a bad part of it by the city. We drove out of it by the time we got home but it caught up to us 10 min later and is still raining pretty hard. MacGuyver, I can promise you that you wouldn't walk out of June's shop without a Serama

They're wonderful little birds!
At the Green Country Swap I did get 2 Frizzle Bantam Cochin pullets-a black and a Chocolate colored one. Oddest color. Also a what looks like a Bantam Cochin/Ameraucana mix, very pretty girl. All 3 are only about 4 months old it looks like. Since I hatched so many boys this summer I'm trying to load up on some girls for them. I won't mix birds from elsewhere with my special favorites that I hatched but I don't have a lot of options as far as finding girls for the extra boys so I'm going to have to just risk it.

You're so lucky to have access to a wood shop and a husband that knows how to do that! Great job :))

Hope everyone had fun at the Green country swap. Wish I could have gone instead of working.

Cute little Serema chickens, if I ever wanted an indoor bird I would consider those little guys.
