Congrats Jarvis! Miohippus love those polish! I tried to order some reds from Sandhill this year but never got them(they do rank as a reliable hatchery in my books! Lots of bad communications and delays and never filled the order!). Those blues are very gorgeous also.
Hope someone post some pics of the pigeons at the show. Does anyone know if Guy was able to go to the show?

I am watching a show on KETA (formerly OETA) about wild ducks. Watching those wood ducklings bail out of a tree 70 feet above the ground is astonishing. (and we worry about chicks falling 4 feet out of the nest box

)

Dropped in to say hi, hope all are ready for the cold weather, I love all the pics of pigeons, we took all our pigeons and some chickens to Guy Rose Auction a week ago, sold them all, needed to cut down the feed bill and Dakota has lost interest in the pigeons so was time to cut them, as with most I am sure, things are really tight here and getting tighter, had to take the wife in for a minor surgery last week and have to find a way to pay for our share of that, with holidays and Birthdays coming in this month there is way more month than money!!! I have seen and visited with Guy Koche on FB, he seems to be doing good, Guy if your on here, Hi!!! Our chickens we have left are doing really good, still getting good amounts of eeggs, we still need to get lights up but have trouble getting out there. I don't get in BYC a lot here lately, I am on FB every day and see some from here on there, i just don't get around to getting on here, I do check in from time to time, don't always comment but I do think of this group all the time!!! Enjoyed seeing several on here during the show and for lunch! This is such a good group of people. Also got to visit with three of the youngsters.

I showed only two birds. I knew the blue partridge showgirl would be BV, as she would be the only one. The blue partridge silkie hen did the very best she could have. Blue partridge is a nonstandard color, so is only eligible for AOV awards. She won best AOV, and there were some really stiriking birds there, including a half dozen or so paint silkies and showgirls and three other blue partridges, as well as my blue partridge showgirl. I knew she was a good bird, and was quite pleased she did so well.

I also did well with my sales. Came home with far fewer birds than I took.
