***OKIES in the BYC III ***

looks like they just added muskogee to the weather advisory- 3 inches possible

just a cute pic for you guys- i open the feed bins to let the guineas have a snack before bed-

looks like that little white chick from a few months ago is a boy, a new voice chimed in today... no more hatching for me, too many boys! Anyone need a white EE cockerel??? sigh

We had a walk-by skunking tonight. Cats are going to have to wear the scent for a few days. I'm not trapping and bathing barn cats this week, especially if we have a winter mix tomorrow. I wonder if they'll close school

If we have an inch of ice on our rural roads, it's going to be tough to keep my little truck between the ditches.

All the pens have extra bedding. I hope it's not raining or sleeting in the morning. I don't put food out at night because it attracts field mice, so I may have to cover my feed buckets with a poncho in the morning.

I was eating a pomello during lunch today, and a student told me to lay off the fruits and veggies and eat like a regular person. I eat meat, but not all the time. Anyway, she brought me a printout (as a joke) to brighten my day. I found the photo she printed. Neat!

Someone posted that pic to my FB this week. I bet they are quick to cancel school for weather since they haven't done it this year yet.

Sorry about that mottled girl she sure was pretty.

The Pryor show is at the Mayes County Fairgrounds on Hwy 20 East (2200 N E lst Street, Pryor, 74361) March 2. The show room will be open Saturday at 7 a.m. and judging begins at 8:30. People can, of course, view the chickens while judging is going on if they stay out of the rows where the judges are working. This is a bantam show only.

The show room will be open Friday, Mar. 1 from 5 pm to 8 pm for people to place their birds. It's always a nice show.
