I am thinking about going to the pryor show...when is it and what time?

I'll be at Pryor also. Am showing two silkies and two showgirls and will have some to sell as well. I hope to get to meet a couple of you on here that are planning to be there and visit with a few I already know. Chicken people are great!

Yesterday my Blue Mottled hen was fine but she was dead this morning! I am just sick about it. Sometimes raising chickens can break your heart.

12 turkeys hatched, 2 more zipping and 3 more to go. I swear it's exciting but at the same time nerve racking. It's like trying to watch popcorn pop for days on end. These guys started pipping Sunday morning and I added the last two of the 12 to the brooder when I got up this morning. If one hatches in the middle of the night tonight, it's going to the brooder instead of me laying there listening to it. Sigh.

And the baby ducks got to swim today. You would have thought they were in the biggest lake in the world and that it was a mile deep ... when in reality it was only two inches of water in the bathtub. Lol.

They were diving and splashing and shooting around each other having a ball. I just love to watch them enjoying themselves.
