I think what we need to do is visit few people and look at a few breeds for her to choose from.

Honestly I think she would be happy with anything. But since it is her project I want her to have what she wants.... I mean what she is willing to do a LOT of EXTRA CHORES to pay for.... lol....

you could try some black landscape fabric...or get the small chicken wire, or wire mesh, they might see each other and try to fight but it will do no good

They were fighting thru the fence I put some white plastic I had on the fence to block their view but now they both walk the fence & crow and look for each other the NN rooster trys to fly over the fence my fence I had is only 5 foot. don't know what else to do? Will they forget about each other & stay on their sides?

as long as they can still hear each other i doubt they will forget about each other. when a roster crows he is proclaiming this is my territory and any other rooster in hearing distance should leave.

i don't know i pretty new to chickens, but the first time i add a second rooster he was pretty young and they just worked it out between themselves( i put him in a small cage in my coupe for a couple of weeks before i let him out) and they lived in the same coup together with minimal fighting. Now all my roosters were raised together so they have already worked things out. Yours may eventually learn to tolerate each other an be fine but they wont ignore each other.

Going to the auction sounds so fun but it would be absolute torture because we would have to come home empty handed every time.

Yes I work for the police department. I am the lieutenant for the Morris Police Department. Gangs 101 seminar was about the latest and greatest updates on Oklahoma gang activity. It also covered drug and gang related homicide interviewing tactics. Lots of horrific pictures. Of course they showed all of the pictures and then broke for lunch.
My second full time job is with Morris High School. I am the activity fund secretary and administrative assistant to both the high school principal and the athletic director. I stay busy to say the least

My chicken runs are next to each other and I find that eventually the roosters just get used to each other if they have Thier own hens
