***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I want this chick!
thats what i am doing this year- i have killed too many vegies in the last few years- so this year is sunflowers, nasturshims, canas... you get the idea we have a broody duck, she is hilarious waging her tail and grinning like she is so proud!! here is the little cochin chick of emily's -

I selected both colored and brown eggs (nn and ee) and a few of the hooda's tiny white eggs. I almost didn't even try those since the hooda's are on the small side and their eggs are tiny, but Little Man has a really liking for them so thinking a hooda x araucana may be interesting. None of the chickens are seperated so they are going to be fathered by one of the 3 boys (oreo ee, jaxom dark skinned nn, or little man araucana) poss moms are ee, nn, top knoted nn, and hooda. I know for sure at least one of the moms is skyfire, after I had a known skyfire egg, I went back into the recently laid eggs to see if I could find any other poss or likely skyfire eggs.
sounds awesome

Greetings ~ I'm looking to buy 3-4 White Leghorn pullets - anywhere from 3-4 months old here in Oklahoma. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
Hi, and a big
welcome-byc.gif
here on the Okie side. What area of Okieland are you in?

BTW, If you can't find the White Leghorn pullets you're looking for, I have some Austrawhites about 1 and a half months old just in case you're interested.

she is a doll, i have 2 cochin bantam chicks from the same roo, will keep posting their growth- when they get bigger you might end up with them...LOL!

The goats must have been waiting for the weather forecast to improve. I have 2 more that should kid in the next few wks. One is acting off tonight, so thinking she is close..... but they sure are tricky.

Today I was thinking cleaning of goat babies & getting them to nurse sure must be easier then trying to do the same with a calf.
Im sure glad they did i didn't want them to be born out in the rain; i have two more that should be soon and then three that will be a couple of weeks behind. i like your colored kids they are cute. all three of mine are bucks.

Sorry they are all bucks! I would have been heart broken if the one with all the color was a buckling. She is my favorite! Hope you have lots of does from the next few kiddings& your doe can handle all those boys nursjng on her! All baby goats are so cute... LaManchas without ears may be the exception IMO.
