***OKIES in the BYC III ***

New to layers got 26 EE's supost to be pullets but one roo so far 7 weeks old he has started his duties .Should I separate them.

Separate them how? You mean pull the little roo out? No reason to unless they are in close proximity to a bedroom and his crowing is waking people up. He can stay in with the pullets. If you don't want him fertilizing the eggs I would pull him out by the time they are about 16 or 18 weeks old, which is about the very earliest the pullets could stary laying.

All of the name tags are printed. I added a few names that were not on the attending list but were on the wants/brings list. Each tag has your BYC name. You will fill in you real name at the event. I also printed a lot of extras.

On a side note I would love to discuss raising bees with some of you at Poops. I am thinking about starting a hive next year.

I guess no one is going to bring another quilt for raffle, its probably not a bad thing. My wife would probably spend all my chicken $ trying to win it, lol. She won the one at the raffle last year. And that's her favorite blanket still. Lol

Too late they just got here this morning and they're soooooo dang cute! Love them already! I ended up ordering Cochins too that will be here next week and barred rocks for laying the week after next lol I'm out of control !! Lol
