***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Our newest dog, that we got a few months ago killed several birds today. One went missing yesterday so I am thinking it may have been her, just not sure. She has always been with birds, not sure what got into her. She had 3 young birds just laying with her as if she was guarding them. Poor broody momma now only has one left!

Kass I have the entire schoolhouse rock series on DVD, maybe you could borrow it for a while.....

Gary watches them on Roku

Sorry about your losses and the dog

Lost our first chicken today. They were outside in a wire dog cage with chicken wire added. Went in to have dinner and left them out thinking they were secure in the cage. Our dog began barked and aggressive bark, I went out to find the neighbors I've yet to meet dog terrorizing them. It's owner came to get him as I was running out with the bat. He had taken ones head off through the chicken wire. My kids are so traumatized. Unfortunately the parents aren't home just the teens and one of the boys that I'm not sure if he was a boyfriend or one of the sons response was get over it it's just a stupid chicken. I nearly lost it but for the sake of my children held it in at least until I speak to the parents.

On no I am so sorry

I lost one of my best egg layers the other day to a dog too. The dog also injured my second best Rosie. Her wing was barely hanging on when I got to her. Thank god for who ever invented vetercyn. I sprayed it on her and she is doing better but the wing is dead. So unfortunately I had to cut the rest of the wing off. :(
So my question can she keep living with one wing. She is such a good bird and has still been laying eggs for me in the quarteen area. And will I ever be able to put her back with her friends and boyfriend?

sorry about the losses, i lost our gray duckling today, not sure but i think the dog spooked the ducks and she got trampled- so frustrating- on the one with one wing, once she adapts, i don't see why she couldn't be reintegrated, do you have her on any meds?

meanwhile, these kittens need homes- pretty pleeze...LOL! get a load of the one on the upper right...

and jet the serama is quite the daddy
