Quote: That's a great thread someone posted about this I usually keep my eggs on the counter for several days, when I'm running the incubator some go in it and the rest go in the fridge, I think it was maybe 10 or 12 years ago there was a big stink raised about the egg producers that supplied to grocery stores (I think some people had gotten sick maybe that started it), But anyway the eggs that were on the shelves back then could have been in storage as long as 3 years, there were some changes to health codes or laws pertaining to how long they could be stored and it was dramatically shortened, I don't know how old they are now when they are placed on the shelves in the store but I'm betting they are closer to 3 months old the difference being that they are moved to a cooler shortly after they are laid and kept cold, you can't leave those out on the counter near as long without them going bad as you can fresh eggs.
Hello Peeps! What has been going on the last couple of months?Good to see ya, Haven't seen you or your brother lately most likely cause I was hiding out for a spell LOL![]()
