I bet it is really hot in Texas! We were considering that for vaction but decided to go somewhere cooler since it would be so late in the summer before we got to go. You guys take care out in that heat.

Good morning guys. We got a little storm here last night. Looks like lots of limbs scattered everywhere. Some barrels and houses blown over. Looked out about 2 something and the raisn was horizantal and coming hard. Little bit of hail, nothing too bad, but much needed rain. Left the house yesterday around 4:30. Took son to OU got him enrolled in honors college and everything taken care of for him there. Had doctors appointment at VA in the afternoon. Got done there about same time as he did at OU. Picked him and wife up and headed to Ada. Picked up an awesome Shamo stag and 2 pullets. Will try to get photos on here soon. Well I need to get around and go move limbs, check all the fowl, move a couple hens with babies. Get the shamo settled in and go from there. Michael you were up either aweful early or aweful late posting. If I was still in hounds would try to swap you out of the tool box dogbox. Always wanted one of them when I was hunting.

Good morning...lightening outside so won't stay on long.

Granddaughter is coming to spend the day with us...hubby just met her Dad on his way to work and they are on the way back here...gotta make Nana's oatmeal.

Sorry to hear about the high winds Old*Cowboy...hope all the birds are okay. Congrats on your son's enrollment at OU.

Hope everyone gets the rain they need.

See ya later.

Yeah I'm doing pretty well with them this year. When it gets real hot like this, if you can pinpoint where they drink and waller at, youre golden. I only bowhunt, so the hogs give me something to hunt year round. I like having them around. And the meat is so much better than storebought piggy.

Lots of rain, thunder, and lightning here until about 30 minutes ago. All our electrical appliances were unplugged the minute we got up. We got hit pretty hard by high winds. I've got tree branches down and some that need to come down. I guess that's what I'll be doing until lunch time.

Joe - See you today unless you call or post and say otherwise. These storms are traveling east, so they'll be hitting your place after they've already been here. I hope they lose strength before they get to Arkansas. If tomorrow is better, please let me know. I've got plenty to do here to keep me occupied. I haven't checked the trees behind the shop. The trees back there are much older, so there may be more wind damage.

Joe - Sent you a PM. I just checked behind the shop and found the worst of the wind damage. Several large branches didn't come all the way off in the storm, so they are splitting from the tree trunks and may do more damage if they aren't cut away. Let me know if we can postpone until tomorrow. Any time if fine. I don't see any storms in the forecast for Friday.

Hi all. Was wondering if anyone here knows where I can get some turkey eggs for hatching in the Creek County or Tulsa County area. Not picky about breed and only need a half dozen or so. Thanks!
