***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have pics of the new fusion quilt I'm working on, got it to the layout stage yesterday and took a few pics. Both sets of squares the pieced side and the crocheted flowers are from swaps here on byc.

I really love this layout.

I have quite a bit of crocheting to do on this side, I am going to follow the basic design on the front and crochet colored sashing around each flower and am going to put my MIL's cancer ribbon in the middle of the "flower garden"

The eagles have landed, Ksane has her boys

Hope you like them as much as I liked their Dad.

If anyone has some quail, or pheasant that you like to get rid of please send me a PM or call, I'm looking for some extra freezer fillers.

Thank you! They're beautiful boys and I love them. We're discussing right this second turning the nicest yard into an Easter Egger yard. It's the yard with a tree that spreads out over the entire 50x50 area. I can put the EE's I've got in there with them plus get them some more. They both very well may be slips but that way there'd be plenty of girls and I'd have ALL blue and green and olive eggs! And Oreo can live on :)

Will the crochet squares be appliqued to the fabric quilt squares? I love the layers and combination of textures.

No the flowers will be crocheted into larger squares and be put together to be a fully crocheted afghan on the back and a fully pieced quilt on the other side.

I'm glad they are going to a great home and they will give you plenty of blue/green laying babies. The one w/ more red has learned the treat song, but he's not very patient if they don't come quickly he goes ahead and eats the treat!!! lol lol lol
