***OKIES in the BYC III ***

NanaKat, thanks SO much for posting this! This is exactly what I needed to hear. I was worried that she would have to be kept in isolation, but I'm just going to have to figure out the best way to alter my setup so she always knows exactly where to go. Although it may not matter. While she's looking a lot better since I got her inside and gave her food and water she could find easily, I've noticed both her pupils are non-reactive to light. She still seems to see, but it may be that she's seeing shadows. I'm leaning toward a stroke or head injury of some kind, especially since she's sleeping a LOT. I guess if she makes it over the next couple of weeks I can look at something more long-term.

Robin - I have been home sick with a stomach virus since Wednesday. I will not be going to work tomorrow as my fever returned around ten today. I may be able to bring your boys home Saturday or Sunday.

On a happier note: I put six dark, dark NN eggs into lockdown today. Keep your fingers crossed for a good hatch. I sure would like to have some NN chocolate egg layers to put in with Hercule.

I'm so SAD! Diana just drove away with Floyd. I know he had to go, but I can't help but feel like I just did something I'm going to regret for a long time. He was SUCH a good roo. God bless you Diana, for giving him a good home!

Take your time and get better!

You are probably spoiling them rotten, i am working at integrating Leah and the girls to the main flock so they will get their little run temporarily- then be full time rangers..:)

That's me. That's why I almost never let them go-literally lol Of course that's just if I've raised them. I don't get quite so attached to most of them that I've gotten as adults. She'll be good to him :) And you're so lucky to have found a home for a rooster that didn't include being Sunday dinner!
Speaking of rehoming....I got this White Showgirl rooster from Betsey 3 months ago. My original intent had been to breed some white Showgirls but my plans have changed and I'm going to go ahead and sell him, He was $35 so if I could just get that back out of him I'll be happy. I'll post his picture last.
I wanted to show you all my Blue Partridge Sizzle and my Frizzle boy. I don't know if the Sizzle is a male or female, they're 5 months old now. The Frizzle is the coolest Black and Red color-I love it.

And here is the Showgirl rooster. He's about a year old, PM me if interested.
Edited to add the pictures, Betsey said the Showgirl is nice quality,

Pretty birds, I have almost 20 silkies that I have hatched out so I myself am going to have to sale some babies. It is always hard selling babies you hatched, but then again I cannot hang onto every baby I hatch.
