I won't be going to the auction, but I am going to check out the poultry show at the Cleveland County fairgrounds (Norman). I've never been to a poultry show!

Jack's Blue roosters have huge beards. One of his hens lays pink eggs. This Winter, when his hens were at Ellie Mae', (Sarah), someone stole a bunch of hen's and now he has only 3 girls. They also got a few of hos Cuckoo Maran's hens and several of Sarah's RIRs! - A chicken theif,Nice flock! That rooster is magnificent! I love Ameraucanas.
I'm going, bringing Blue and Splash Marans chicks. Jack is coming; bringing Cuckoo and Gold Salmon Marans, RIR, Welsummer and Barred Rock chicks. Think he is also bringing Gold Salmon and Welsummer eggs.Anyone going to the Newcastle auction tomorrow? Wonder what will be offered
I was researching our strangely feathered babies and I came across this idea. Do you think they are a drizzled Cochin?
ya i have been too and the people on https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...and-frizzle-cochin-bantams/1250#post_13182406 say they are not frizzle because they would have curved wing feathers and mine don't they say that they are smooth white cochins and that is just baby fluff.

There was someone on craigslist selling lavender ameraucanas but I was so busy at the time I didn't call them. I will see if I can find the listing again, and get back to you... Like MaryJo said, I have a lovely lavender rooster but no hens so I was just going to put over a couple of blue and a splash hen and see what I get...
can't wait to see what the turn out to beWell their feathers are very odd but oh so pretty. I'm not convinced they are smooth Cochins yet guess we will have to wait till they get older
