***OKIES in the BYC III ***

We have a new member UrbanJan who should pop in soon. She lives in the Norman area.

We are reeling from the sudden loss of a family member to what appears to be a massive heart attack. My son-in-law's father died Saturday in his home when he went home for lunch and to take a short nap before returning to office to work. The neighbor saw the car in the driveway Sunday morning and knew it was normally in the garage at that time. Thinking it suspicious, he called the sheriff to investigate. The children are devastated at the early loss of their father. His wife was in Texas and in shock at the news so one of the sons went down to bring her home. Jerry was 66 and preparing to retire from his accounting business after this tax season. A close knit family, they are desperately trying to deal with their loss. Please keep this precious family in your prayers.
So sorry, reminds me to never take time with loved ones for granted.

been busy getting things ready for the cold, should NOT have planted anything- no big issue, but i sure hate to lose the roses and butterfly plant- so if i just cover the will they be ok? they have barely been in the ground 2 weeks

I have 3 dark brahma Cockerels hatched in February if anyone is interested.

I think I'll put them in Coweta auction if no takers on here.

Sorry for you loss, i will say prayers for the family.

Thank you everyone for your kind words of comfort. Jerry's funeral is Wednesday in Elk City. Sarah said that his sudden loss reminds us to hold our loved ones tightly and tell them often they are loved. Jerry did that every chance he could.

Kelly...so glad your Mother will enjoy the flowers.

Kass, I'm enjoying seeing the pictures of your babies....especially Rudy.....that baby is going to be striking with red comb and wattles.
