***OKIES in the BYC III ***

The last few weeks' labor- rebuilding the playset we bought on Craiglist last fall and a start on redoing the playhouse I got on a chicken FB page. I was going to turn it into a coop but we found a better coop so it gets to stay a playhouse! My girls especially are thrilled.

Awesome!

My usual sprouting is done w/ oats and wheat, but this one is a fodder mix for planting deer plot.  I sent Gary to the feed store for something else and he came home w/ this, so I am using it up.  It is a mixture of grains, coles, clover etc...

I see well I like it I think the sock ide is very creative and the animals seem to like it

@ashtree I would LOVE some elderberry plants! Let me know where you'll be when and I'll come meet you happily!

Kyzmette,, Elderberry transplants very nicely. I put some in pots to heel them in until I had the permanent location ready. Two weeks time had nice new roots and tender growth. Keep them moist as the roots form. elderberry spreads by root runners.
The grasshoppers ate the blooms off the plants out in the pasture, but those in the garden are blooming.

Betsy...good to see you back!

Kass, great idea on the seed sock!
