***OKIES in the BYC III ***

@HeyBigRhondaq you're in Norman right? I'm going to Stroud on Sunday to get SFH chicks from @cathiesue last I talked to her 8 hatched and I'll probably only get 6. Want me to bring the extras back? I'm assuming they haven't been promised to anyone else.... anyway, maybe it would work.

Yes, and yes! I'll take both if they're available. A broody just hatched a few chicks and I could hopefully get her to adopt them! PM on cost/availability, please and THANK YOU!
And, I'll keep you posted on my hatch. If I'm really lucky I'll have too many and won't be able to keep them all. :)

I was supposed to get a bunny yesterday (which I did) and my husband was going to go pick 1 out last night from a guy in OKC. Except my husband cheated and took BOTH the bunnies last night. So all of a sudden we have *3 bunnies. These 2 are a mix of 2 dwarf breeds so at least all 3 should stay around 3-4 lbs.

Very cute, but you can't let a husband out alone w/ cute baby animals!!!! At least not mine.

I was actually aware of "rabbit math" much sooner than "chicken math"

Quote: the way i handle shipped eggs, set them in the bator point side down, then i don't touch or turn for 7-10 days- that gives the aircells a chance to settle in the big side- then candle and set normal and begin turning- hope you have a good hatch!

no word on the runaway- sigh

Question: I'm trying to decide which rooster I should keep. I want a mix of colors and varieties. I'm for sure keeping one of my EE boys, the nicest and prettiest. But I'm stuck on which other I should keep. I have 2 barred rocks and I have a barred frizzled Cochin I'm choosing between. I hear barred roosters will pass on the barring to all the offspring? If so, will they be black and white like the dad too? Or will the colors vary? Also, if I keep the Cochin will all the babies be frizzled? And have feathered feet?? Sorry if these questions are silly I'm still learning. :)
