***OKIES in the BYC III ***

@kelielliott I think your polish is a roo. And it looks like your partridge does not have a walnut comb, that's maybe a rose comb. He's likely a mix if he doesn't have feathered feet.

@ashtree It's huge whatever it is! It almost covers his other eye! She said she showed a white and him together and they won first place. I haven't had time to look him over until this morning while I was taking these pics. So disappointing. Oh well, I will know for next time! What do you think of the white ones? They have a few more regular feathers in the wings and tail. Is that normal?

I've been trying to post pics since last night, my computer and phone went on some anti BYC strike.

Here's my Birdie and our sizzle rooster Clover:

Another of Clover (he's got that healthy fear of me thing that makes getting pics a pain)

Some of the bunch

Sweet ducks, I think Geo is going to give us an egg soon!

And just finishing this coop for the bantams:

I need to get pictures that show the whole thing.

Also I'm trying to decide on a trio for an unoccupied coop I have. I'm thinking about orpingtons but have no experience with them. Does anyone have them? I'm also considering hatching eggs instead of trio because I absolutely HATE isolation and worrying about all that.

@HeyBigRhondaq looks like only 1 roo so far! :fl it stays that way! Super lucky!

I think the hard tail feathers are something you will have to work on breeding away from. But I'm not too familiar with beardless silkies so maybe the standard is different. I would check to see that they all have 5 toes.

After I noticed his non feathered feet I checked for toes and skin color. Everyone is black and has 5 toes.

Anyone in the Norman/Noble area interested in sizzles or silkies I have a few available with a straight comb instead of walnut. They're super cute and beautiful but the comb means I can't use them for breeding.

The 2 lighter (splash) are sizzles, the rest are silkies or smooth sizzles I can't tell if they are blue or black
