Same here, from the cloud that went east of me yesterday I would have sworn you got it. A coworker 8 miles southeast of me said he got over an inch. he lives 2 mi. north of Dibble.

And they also need to be cleaned up at the time they are fed. In this heat it will not take long, just a few hours, to spoil and cause botulism.
Once a grain is cracked it starts to lose nutrition immediatly and the rule of thumb is to never feed cracked grains that are over 30 days old. Always check tags on processed feed.
Whole grains on the other hand will stay good for a long time. Wheat stored in jars in Egyptian tombs have actually been grown under labratory conditions.

Did you already do a full evaluations on it? If not, what were the elements you didn't care for on it?
Instead of going through the whole spill, here is one of the emails I sent them....

Incubator arrive June 1. They sent the wrong incubator, not the one I ordered. The one I ordered was supposed to have egg trey that you could open with out opening door. Did not get that. Was also supposed to be wired were I could plug in egg turners. When I called him he apologized and said he would send me a power strip. Yes sir, thats how I wanted it fixed. (oh yea, he never even sent that) Here it is middle of July and bottom fan has stopped working. He did anwser that email.
My email to them......

His reply and the last I have heard from them.......
Well that's your problem. The fan was not working or you just need to
change the fuse in it. The fuse is in the part of the cord you plug
in the wall. See if that helps because all my other customers are
happy.
This post may get kicked because I was told once not to post things against other people, BUT you asked so I replied, this is why I think my new custom built incubator sucks. I saw a nice working GQF sale at Blanchard last week for about half what I have in this one.
Thank's for the info Guy on the incubator,,,I no other peep that had the same prob...We had a guy pop in hear out of the blue one time that said he was makeing thim an makeing chicken tractor's a guy i no sent him the money for the incubator an never got anything..So it's up to us to watch out for one another...

Can you elaborate on "cleaned up at the time they are fed"?
Guy if the runners on the shelves are wood replace them with nylon along with the slides that they fit into. One problem down.
When you say the bottom fan went out is there two? Only need one to set up a good air flow. Does it stay on constantly or cycle like a tabletop model?
How many vents does it have, where are they and are you able to close them off?
Do the trays have solid bottoms?
What type of thermostat does it have? I have never had good luck with the eletronic ones, they are just too touchy for me and I spend a lot of time getting them to stabilize. My old wafers hold temps very well.
And what is the wattage of the heat source? too large and it will heat too much too fast and cause big temp differences.

Not left to set around, just feed what the birds will eat all at once.

Thanks. That was very helpful. You have saved me several hundred dollars and a lot of headaches, sounds like.
