I just looked at the listing/description I have for myself. "A dozen and a half chickens" ... Well, I have no hatching shame - but evidence supports (I am afraid to count at this point) that I have had 'hatching fever'. I believe that this is the primary disease, and hatching shame is a common side effect - but as other have already said - not too long lasting. However not sure there is an actual cure for hatching fever.Hmmmm... I went and got myself a dilemma. Anybody else ever feel like the kid in the candystore that's already getting a bellyache?
I know I swore I wasn't going to hatch this year. So now after the Coweta auction the Brinsea is full, and I had to pull out the styrofoam bator for the additional dozen and a half that wouldn't fit in the Brinsea... and I just found out I won an Ebay bid on a dozen White Faced Black Spanish eggs I totally forgot I bid on! In my defense, I was sick and couldn't sleep, and it was after 2am on a work night, but still! I finally made a decision on what my project bird will be, so I'm going to have to make one more purchase, but that's it! I'm going to Chickaholics!
I have hatching shame.
