I'm getting ready to caponize a few cockerels, that a friend recently gave me. One of those boys, is not going to be caponized, as he is the biggest, prettiest, Ameracauna, I've ever seen. He is the offspring of one of mine, that my friend hatched out. But, far bigger and prettier, than any other Ameracauna that I have.

Im not 100% certain, but I believe that this one, was from a blue mother. Dad was definitely black with white splash on the wings. 9 different hens could have been mom. more than likely, it was one of the 3 blues, though. My neighbor had a large Blue Ameraucanas rooster with an enormous beard. He was one of the most beautiful roosters I have ever seen.
