***OKIES in the BYC III ***

So my DH made this duck house for me for my two call ducks but it needs a door so I can close them in at night to keep them safe any ideas on how I might make a door?

I just hinged a door over top the hole in my coop and hold it open with an eye and hook and you could also use a hook and eye to hold it shut

I thought about that but wasn't sure how I would attach hinges to the metal stock tank got any suggestions?

Squeeze rivets would be the safest it wouldn't leave a sharp object inside for the to get poked on. Or use bolts with a nut. Could probably get a squeeze rivet gun and rivets at Hatbor Freight. Drill some holes and put on a rivet.

I read on here that Country Hatchery only sell pullets? But I just bought 15 chicks from them and should get them in February. So are they Pullets or chicks?

They sell chicks and both genders, the person who posted the info was pointing out that you could buy "pullets only" in some of their chicks, as opposed to males only, or unsexed or straight run.
