***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Some test eggs I had in Jack's incubator have hatched!
DH's little Buff pair had 3 out of 3!
My birds didn't have such a good hatch rate. In this heat I am not at all disapointed plus now I know my young black roo is fertile. I hadn't even trimmed him yet.
One problem - I still have too many chickens!

We have 9 different colors plus some that are pied. Only been selling the comin colors this yr in hopes of having lots of colorful keets next yr. However when I counted the other day there are about 45 I set aside to keep, could start getting pretty noisy out here!

I still haven't found bronze, I really like the bronze!

Anyone buying brown keets I would be very cautious giving big $$$ for them. They look just like pearl when they hatch. I will try to do a side by side pic later to post.

I'm confused, were you hoping to fix your "too many chicken" problem w/ hatching eggs in an incubator and a fertile roo?

I think you need the "birds and bees" lesson again!
