I have Silver Sebrights that will make that based on age, 1 cockrell and two pullets, 1 hen, all are very nice. I may have a few Golden Pullets but the golden cockrells I would have will be younger.

That sounds great! The silvers are my favorites anyway. How much would you want for them? Pm me if you'd rather not post the price on here.

Just call me, when you are ready.. 405-878-6381 Carl

Morning Joe! Anything new going on in the neighborhood? I take it your still hot and dry! Keeping fingers crossed for those fall rains for you all.Are you setting eggs and hatching?

Cowboy I have 14 of the g. pigs. They could do your yard in just a few nights!lol. Now maybe the time to get them goats!

Just had to show these pics of my hubby with our new Easter Eggers ( 2 1/2 months old). Coral (poco pollo) was kind enough to switch our Ameraucana pullet (oops, turns out she is a rooster), for another chicken. We took 2 so the transition would not be so hard for the new ones. Well, my husband was so upset about having to trade the chickens - he felt so sorry for the one we had to trade and then for the new ones that have to integrate into our little flock (3 others who are 3 to 3 1/2 months old). He has such a soft heart:) Anyway, we brought the new chickens home and put them outside in the chicken run. DH thought they were getting hot and were stressed so he put them back into the pet carrier and brought them in the house:) Then he decided to watch some TV with them.

When we put them outside to see the other chickens, it was not a happy welcome. The new chickens flew right up onto my husband so he had 2 chickens on him! He thought it was great!

We were able to put them on the roost the first evening. So far, the 2 groups of birds are ignoring each other during the day (for the most part). Last night we let the 2 new ones get on the roost by themselves. After some squabbling, they settled down for the night. Will the 2 groups eventually hang out together? We have only had the new birds for 2 nights so far...

Young birds often pair up with "buddies" but they will all eventually get along just fine. When its feeding time or treat time they forget their friendships!lol Nice looking EEs.I am sure you will enjoy them. Yes Coral has been know to be a great enabler!lol. Thats why we all love her!

10.10 a bag, I am paying 16 something for 50 lbs chick starter at our coop.

Sucks being poor, If I could afford it, would come over and buy a truck load. That is an awesome price, How much for laying pellets?

Good question, I mostly do mixes since I have pretty much everything. I have never bought the layer pellets but I'll check for you. You could always just buy on your way home from the auction then at least it wouldn't be an extra trip.
