those work great as a new chick brooder for a few days - I use one for my pheasant and quail chicks, with an office lamp for warmth.

i agree however the wife wants it gone. So im trying to get something out of it, will trade for pretty much anything.

Evenin' all. Have been gone for a week or so. Too many posts to catch up on but read random posts and looked at the posted photos. The photos are always nice to see. Went to the house at Lake Eufaula for a mini-vacation. Caught a mess of crappie, a few bass and one catfish. Looks like there will be a fish fry in the future.

Betsy - so sorry about your losses. Hope you get those pesky raccoons taken care of.

NanaKat - great news about your husband! Glad he's doing better, and hope the interview goes well.

So I finally got a few faverolles. I've been looking for the perfect ones. I thought I had found them and went to pick up two hens that had just begun laying a few weeks ago and an unrelated trio between 2-3 months. I drove three hours to get my precious birds only to be told to meet in a parking lot. She brought two 2 month olds and three that she said are 5 weeks but they are just starting to get feathers. :-/ and I feel like I was way overcharged. But I wasn't about to leave empty handed after all the anticipation and the long drive. I'm very happy with my birds never-the-less just disappointed with the situation. I'm really glad my search is over though

well i have one of those weather station things thats mounted outside the house. it got up to 75mph, then stopped reading, due to the fact that the wind pulled the 2 inch screws out and i havent seen it since. i would say that the wind is rather sporty, but in Oklahoma its just another stiff breeze.

Sounds like time to batten down the hatches! Hope that wind slows before it gets over here. Our forecast called for only one day to be in the ninetys for the next seven! Yeah! Maybe I can get some pens made.
We are at the er in Bowling Green trying to get MIL admitted so they can get her lined out on her meds and her diabetes.hopefully then she will be transferred to the rehab for a while. It was a tuff decision for wife but it's the best for MIL and us too. She is getting real irate and combative when she is awake.

Double stud wish you were closer, that tank would make a great rat pen!lol

P&B how are your rabbits holding up in this heat? Are you breeding any of them in this weather?
