***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Anyone looking for baby chicks.
Our buddy Jack is out of the hospital but is still not feeling very well. He has several chicks that he recently hatched and wants to sell. He will make some good deals.
They include the following: RIR's, Feather legged Cuckoo Marans, Ameraucanas, Spitzhaubens.
There may be a few other breeds mixed in but each chick is full blood.
Send me a pm if you are interested.

Betsy, I am so sorry for your losses.

Since owning chickens I have to admit I get a warm fuzzy when I see a coon dead on the side of the road, cuz I think there is one less I have to worry about getting my chickens. Is that wrong???

Oh that is not going off the deep end driving 3 hours for chickens. I have driven a lot farther for birds. Probably everyone on BYC has done the same, so if you are going off the deep end the rest of us already have.

I would be interested in favorelles if someone has any to sell. I have a few chicks but would like to get more. Faverolles are my favorite type of chickens, not counting my giant cochin roo (Gregory Peck, who I love so much)

Ah man, we were desparately looking for marans the other day. We just settled for a Welsummer. Got some other cool chicks though.

Betsy, Sorry to hear about your losses. Coons have been bad here too. We have caught a few but they are getting smarter. Hope you find some good replacement stock. Chickens that is, not coons.

... that was when Doc put me on the spot at the spring poops back in 2010 at the KOA... and I had to be on the mic... ha ha ha good embarrasing memories if you ask me...

When I was a very little girl my mom used to put me on the spot... to do Mae West impressions... at the time I didnt know who she was.. I just knew how much people would laugh when I would do my impression...

Left Breast in the muscle, stay at least 1/2 inch from teh breast bone, and 1/4 inch deep. If you place the needle just under the skin the Meds. will leak back out before being absorbed into the body.

thanks! hope i do it right!
