***OKIES in the BYC III ***

and would ya believe we had some stray chickens that went into the witness protection program and when we got home... they were trying to blend in with our turkeys.. ha ha ha they must have ran and hide when they saw us gathering up all the other birds and putting them in the cages... I will say.. it did feel weird going to cement and not bringing home something of some sort...

Jason and I are talking about having a farewell see ya next time kinda party before we leave and of course our fellow OKIES in the BYC will be invited... so keep your calenders open here in the early fall... goes we going to party till the Cows come home...
 
Pigeun's wer all roller's some wer realy small bird's hadnt ben out of the pen for a long time just kept up hawk's wer so bad on thim..
Some of the sheep wer black Hawien an some wer reg, Barbdoe realy tame one big ram has the largest horn's you ever seen..It was a chore geting all the stuff loaded up.
They had made trail's in the black jack's an side walk's from one pen to the next ..No road's just walk in on foot .. Okie-do the place is for sale it is prised cheap for wer it's at an has 20,000 bucks worth of land scaping just around the pen they are asking 140,ooo....5bed room home lot's of out bilding;s car port's barn's an nice fence with video cam set up...All the trail's around the back have bench'es to sit at...so you can watch your bird's..

Glad that they are the two primary varieties I already have. I would be tempted to talk you out of them.
I have gone the one bird route with the yellow golden pheasants I have. It can take months to find hens to match. Guess I will wait on starting a new variety.
 
Oh man Michael,I would think I had died and gone to heaven if I had a place like that! I really should concider something like that as much as I like critters.

Cowboy thats great. I got some of those last year and finally sold them this spring. I really liked them. I think they are my favorite"big" breed.Mine were very prolific and easy raisers also. Mine were white and colored.
