I have to admit I am really liking the cochins.

Carla will more than likely have frizzled things of all sorts, you can't buy her out unless you have a deuce and a half army truck to haul them home.

If Gerald gets his deuce & half running, we'll be bringing a whole lot of stuff ... crammed full

He hasn't driven it since December & the batteries (2) are dead & need to be replaced. Hopefully he get's it going on Friday.

I guess if he doesn't get it running, we could bring a small trailer with all our stuff.

We intend to bring quite a few raffle items.

We have several birds to donate for the processing demonstration (including a turkey and a duck)

For sale will be lots of chicks including naked neck babies and many are frizzle!

Hatching eggs will be available from all our birds.

We'll bring some baby muscovy ducks and lots of baby turkeys of all the varieties we raise.

Oh .... and we hope to bring some of our tame fainting goats that are for sale.

And I have some poultry catching hooks to sell. They are great for catching chickens that get loose! The sweet ladies that came and tested our chickens for NPIP and AI let us borrow their poultry hook & I just had to have a few ... so I bought extras. The hook works great for catching chickens, turkeys and ducks!

I can't wait to visit with lots of Okies on Saturday

Joe send his respect to Gerald on the deuce & half, says that is a real man's car.

I love calves. I used to bucket feed the deacon calves for my Dad. He didn't believe in those calf bottles, You just stick your thumb in their mouth and pull it down into the bucket of warm milk. Usually they are so hungry they don't even notice when you pull your thumb out of their mouthes (sp?) I'm pretty tired, Do you know it takes 32 min. to peel 15 lbs. of potatoes?

You don't have to explain that to me.

MJ, With our beef herd, we usually use a bottle or a tube feeder when we have a weak baby or new mama that is slow to let her baby suck. We want the babies back on the beef cow as soon as possible. Only used a bucket when I had to hand raise a two week old whose mother was shot. Becky Sue finally learned to use a bucket ...you kind of side-step when a 500 pound calf comes running to meet you from across the pasture.
Cayuse, Looks like a nice setting for your new coop and runs.
