Never put a single dog against a Coyote, always two or more so they have a better chance. We ran Black and Tans and trailhounds for many years hunting them.
Love to hear the Coyotes at night because after all, if the're howling they arn't hunting.

Mine are in the front yard in a 5' chain link fence, I didn't mean to send my dogs *after the coyotes

It's fenced all the way around here, I just meant their barking at sounds in the middle of the night would keep other critters away. The bobcats and coyotes don't know the dogs are inside a fence. I don't want my dogs tangling with wild animals.

Did I mention how much I love the country?...today the water quit working...almost $800 later and a good neighbor, we replaced our well motor, over 80 feet of pipe straight down, and our pressure tank...but at least it didn't happen in the winter or have to do any digging...

cowboy...those are some good looking birds...I'll get with you tomorrow on some of the pullets, off to a shower right now

Love those dinosaurs Cowboy!Loos klike they are comming on great!

Those trumpets are about 10-12 inches long! They grom seed to this big or bigger in a year. Then they come up every year. Can be a bit invasive so have to put it where it can be controled. Blooms also stay open on clouudy days. They stink up close and the bees love them!
