Thanks Wayne! I got her this morning from Kassaundra (the chicken train works again)! Jarvis raises some nice one's! I need to get pic's of the blues that we got back at POOPS. They are really growing.

Sooner,
let me know when you get the little girl and what Madison thinks of her... You might try the goody jars that are in with your seeds. The Pineaple Pear preserves are very sweet so you may want something to go with it, I think it would be a great ice cream topping but haven't tried that yet. The pear Butter though I just like the jar and a spoon, I feed to Kasyn ( our granddaughter) that way. Its funny she comes over goes straight to the fridge and starts in. I have it for a mid night snack nightly...

GOOD MORNING OKLAHOMA!!!!

Yeah I feel better today! Meds do wonders.

PoCo I haven't decided yet but was thinking about the autum special on large fowl just to see what I would get. But I did like some of the rare breeds also, like the white houdans and white white faced spanish and some campines. I am just not for sure I want to babysit chicks thru the winter or not.,although fall chicks usually do good for me.
That pot is goregous! You are certainly a lady of many talents!

Done been out and fed and watered and cut up salad for the chickens and a half bushel of grass for g. pigs morning graze !They thanked me with whistles and squeaks.lol

The pigeons are going all out in their new loft and all the pairs either have babys or eggs. All my breeders are either red and white mottled or almond so I am getting some neat color combinations, all good except one pair throwsw only black! I will be breaking them up,I don't like black pigeons.

OOOHH Thank you. Would love that. I wondered what you would think of the cockrell. He is really a great roo and is crowing now too. I moved the teen SLW roos to another pen to fatten for the freezer so he is the only roo with 13 little ladies. He is calling them to crickets and treats. So far he hasn't started to dance for them but he knows how to wine and dine them.

The little Black Cochin roo is doing great also. Will have to post a photo tomorrow. He has grown these past few weeks and is now abut 2/3 the size of Angel...his adoptive mom.

I'm going to be trimming the rump feathers soon on the BLRWs. Jarvis roo has breeding down pat now and we need to up the fertility ratio. The late bloomer hen laid her first egg today so now all three have begun laying. They are molting a few feathers now also.

Can't wait for the fall temperatures to begin.

I can come out and give you hand trimming them up sunday monday or thursday.. or next weekend, just let me know what works for you.

Wonderful...We're good any of those days mentioned. Roger has a doctor appointment on Tuesday. I'll PM you directions.

Carl - The little pullet sure does have nice coloring, especially for being so young. Will post photos when she gets bigger. Thanks again for being so generous and exchanging the birds. BTW, the pear goodies you sent were delicious! Good job on those.
