Hello all and happy new years eve!
I'm new to forum but have been lurking all day and decided to sign up.
No chickens yet but have a prefab coop being delivered. I got the chicken bug from living with a boyfriend that had a flock. I'm back at my own home now but miss the enjoyment of having chickens (and turkeys) around. I spoiled his birds with treats and we bought turkeys and hens together and there is one chick that I got attached to that I want to bring to my house. I need to collect materials to make a bigger structure so I can bring the turkeys to my house too.

I do want to get a couple of Wyandotte hens. So if there is anyone on here that has some for sell then I'm interested.

Hello everyone I'm from jones mostly have guineas nerdy told me to say hi. Have some Cochin bantams and my bator has blue laced red wyndottes in it due to hatch jan 3 am looking for large fowl adults show quality if anyone has them or a contact. Also looking got chocolate, pastel,slate guinea hens. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to all the newcomers. Forum has slowed greatly since last yr so jump in & help us get the chicken chatter going again.

Guinea guy remind me in spring, DD has all those color guinea fowl. Only ever hatched a few pastel but plenty slate & chocolates. She hatches about 8 dz eggs a wk most times.
I seriously thought the snow would be melted by today, but nope still have lots! I am watching chopped. Secret ingredient was black chicken & they were all freaked out.
We have a silver appleyard duck thawing to cook for New Years. Sure hope they taste good, since I have 5 more in the freezer.
