***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Guinea guy DD is only 12, she loves her guineas! I don't think she has any adults she would part with, she thinned them down in June. come spring she will for sure have keets. I think we hatched 13 colors last yr. I got sick at the end of hatching season so I don't have an acurate count of what we have right now.... I didn't even sex out or sort colors of the ones we kept. Her first hatch is usually available the first wk of May & she will hatch until the begining of July.
There are a few others that hatch guinea fowl too & they may have some adults but not sure.

Macy cot her first bobcat of the yr it's ben skunk's an coon's ...All the bird's are doing great snow is still on . It's not got warm anuf to melt it off ,,
Jcat the lady at the feed store in Anadarko said she would like to buy some chick's an keet's from you to sale in the spring an some baby duck's ..They sale shawnee feed ther but are just geting startd ..An will get any kind you wont..

Macy sure is something else! Only thing we trapped this month was a domestic cat, opossum & a large rat. Girls thought the opossum & cat were almost pet worthy, but no one spoke up to save the rat. They would for sure have enjoyed catching a bobcat. I grew up with a pet bobcat, but not something I would want in my own house now!
Mike I will try to check with the feed store in the spring. I stopped in there once & wasn't much there yet. Thanks for thinking of us. Taron spent about 1/2 her hatching money last yr & put the other half in the bank. After Alexis bought her car a few months ago Taron became determined to save even more since her car will be better.

Mitzi if you are reading this we miss you!!!! Hope your flock is on the rebound & you are doing well.

Happy New Years Eve Okies! Mama May hatched just one chick from the batch of eggs that Kass gave me. Why yes, we have a grandchick. Thanks Kass. Believe her name will be Kassie! One chick is going to be a problem as you know and I'm pretty sure no more are coming.

Anyhow, has anyone hatched yesterday or today? My sweet man has agreed to a chick run if I can find one. Thanks everyone! Oh, and I'm looking for a bird that lays anything BUT a light brown egg..

Are you looking for Large fowl or Bantam? I have a young rosecomb I could let go of if really needed. of course that will be a bantam.
