Robin gave some good advice for antibiotic treatments. It is most surly a respiratory illness, probably caught from the wild birds, many have been loosing birds this winter to similar illness, definately one to consider antibiotic treatments since it is proven to be fatal already.

What kinds of antibiotics or treatments should I be giving to my chickens to keep them from getting sick? Mine are all well but I am new to having chickens & want to make sure I'm taking good care of them.

My new hot wire I put around chicken fence got that little yorkie

today maybe he will stay away from my chickens for good.

hey guys, what causes lesions on the inside of a birds throat? Captain, my bantam cochin roo has been shaking his head - checked and down in the throught it seems covered with cottage cheesy stuff....

from i've read maybe fowl pox?

i don't know but often a yeast infection will look like that do chickens get thrush

The Poops has not been decided yet, we are in the initial stages of setting it up! I did talk to Monty(Buckguy) yesterday and he said he was thinking about a Poops also and wanted to know how much interest there was in it! He said he would try to get on and see whats going on and try to start organizing things for it! He was one of the original starters!!! His mom is in the Hosp in Tulsa so I am sure prayers would be welcome there!!!  Lynn
