yeah got a few from keith , and i seen some pics of those birds and im sure you could help with the enableing , i fb messaged you but never heard from you but sounds like your busy alot now days man

Cochins are a touch different, you will want to blow dry them so to fluff them back up. We had some that we thought were dry one day and spent two hours after we got to the show trying to finish drying them.
The other big difference is you want a slightly softer body than a game bird so a lower roost works better.
If you need some help with anything just call, I will happy to help where I can.
I know about blow drying them and I hear they really like it. Funny birds
Thanks!

So to update everyone on the 2 roos I got at auction last nite have gone to a wonderful home here in Blanchard. He went to okracefan and they were very happy when we left them so, definitely have a good home. Thanks artsyrobin for offer to play back up

, I appreciate that very much. Well, it's been a long weekend w new birds, an new nephew so gnite everyone.

Donnie could you drive any of the way to get NN rooster? I'm about 3 hours from you might could meet you somewhere or maybe someone is closer & can come get him for you? He needs a good home here I have only a small coop for him & I want him to be able to runn around with hens.

Jack's 2nd hair sheep ewe picked a nice day to deliver and has 2 healthy lambs! I'll post some pics soon.

i have been contemplating getting my incubator out and getting started on hatching but I remembered I already have 2 "incubators" already warmed up. I stuck 5 eggs under my 2 stubborn broody Mille Fleur Cochin pullets. Since they aren't laying they might as well be doing something else usefull besides looking pretty.

Okla the lethal gene is associated w/ the tufted not the rumpless. If you choose to mate tufted to tufted just be aware there is an approx 25% mortality in the shell.
