***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Thanks jcat. I think we are just going to try and stick it out there till she retires and between now and then work on all the things the "lookers" seem to have had problems with. Hopefully by then the houseing market will be back to normal also. I'm just disappointed because I had hoped it would sell and put us that much closer to moveing back to Okla! May have to face the hard reality that we will end up just reting here! Thats my greatset fear!

Saw my first "mottled" turkey at the sale today. It was a hen. I have seen pics but not a live bird. They are awesome! Never thought they would stand out so much! That would be one breed I would like to try.

Just wanted to throw a shout out to banjojoe....you are awesome, thank you so much for the heads up on those hens

It was a pleasure meeting you!
Hubby and I went to the Wister auction and came home with a dozen black Sumatra eggs, 1/2 dozen blue/black Cochin eggs, a pretty little Serama roo, and an adorable mottled frizzle Cochin Bantam roo...all from Villamil Farms

Man I used to go to Brushy Mntn lake when I was a kid. Loved that place. You know any Curl's or London's from the Sallisaw / Muldrow area? Maybe some Stikes I think it is? My mom grew up on Hwy 101 between 64B and Nicut.
