***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Thanks for the info.  I hadn't even considered audio books.  Is there a maximum number of books one can listen to each month?

It depends in the subscription program, but it's much cheaper than buying the audio books individually. If you google for discount codes you can find a code to get the first month free usually. DH listens to the books on his phone while he comutes. Other countries even have Netflix type programs for digital books. Can't wait to get that in the US, my girls would love it.
Glad you found homes for your does. I am sure they were your biggest worry.

Lowes service agreement (the extra one you buy) is awesome, they really stand behind it. Bosch dishwashers however not worth the money and time. I now have the replacement dishwasher and it is quite a bit louder then the Bosch, but then again it is actually running. lol

I forget who did this a few weeks ago but here is some inspiration that was posted on my FB today

Hello everyone. I'm still around and alive. I finally got some more chicks. It's been a little quiet around here without any birds around.

I was wondering if anyone knew how long chicken feed is good for. We just received a truckload of Layena crumbles and was wondering how long it would last.

When I was buying my feed in bulk it never lasted more than 4 months & I didn't have any issues with expiration. Biggest worry is keeping it dry & keeping other critters out. I have bought bad feed at atwoods multiple times. Was full of bugs. I believe atwoods told me they discount any feed more than 6 months old.

The feed was bagged last month. The truck driver explained what all the paperwork meant. I don't think we'll be able to use it all within four months. There is over 100 bags. Lol

You should talk to Donnie, he may be able to help you with chicks to eat all that food.

Try looking around for old deep freezers that dont work. Clean em up and use them for storage. Keeps moisture and critters of all kinds out!

On another note......

I am working on my first hatch. I set 41 eggs and 9 have hatched as of this morning. Today is official hatch day. I mixed NN and Pheonix as an experiment and have 2 that are showing the Pheonix patterning with naked necks. Ohhh so cute!
