***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Has anyone used Fisher Feed Mill in Bristow? I see they are in the egg business too.

I LOVE Fishers!! Been going there every other Sunday for years! Great people and they are open when I need them to be. The feed they make is high quality and they also have other feeds to fill in for things they don't make. unbeatable egg prices (compared to store)

I have some extra buff roo's your welcome to. They are less than a year old, but I don't handle my roosters as I think that is what makes them mean. They are not mean, maybe flighty...catching them would be difficult. They treat my ladies well, but I just don't need 3 buff roos

Scoots,
When is the benefit Auction? I have some top shelf Black Rosecomb hens that I could let go of for the right reason, and this sounds like a good reason to me. Let me know via PM or phone call and I will get them there.

It was an awesome sale. I never stay up passed midnight for anything but chickens. There will be another sale April 6th, right?

i'd love a cat someday! my inside birds normally would be seramas and 'normal' birds- but until i get everything safe for the special needs birds, they are inside- trying to limit the chickens some, to just absolute favorites and my layer flock which i enjoy watching freerange and the bantams which are mostly cochins- my new obsessions- cochins and faverolles

Lynn - Thanks for the update on the goats. The drive from Taos was arduous. There were sand storms in Texas, and then it rained. I got home late, late, late last night. I'm exhausted from my Spring Break.

Hope everyone is staying warm. We've had sleet and snow flurries. It's too warm for any of the snow to stick, but the wind is wicked. I am going to make some hot oatmeal to see if I can warm up from the inside.

Scoots, for the benefit do you needs chicks to sell to raise money for those prizes? I'll have some Cochin and Wyandottes. Looking forward to details.
