***OKIES in the BYC III ***

These pics are from a few days ago when I took them out for some carpet time with me. They were the sweetest lil' things, too!









I got some pics of them the day I got them, and they were super cute pics, but...

I accidentally deleted them!

Dehydrator is now full of free lemons. drying the rinds and the flesh seperately. First time for me to try this so we'll see how it goes. The rinds will be for seasoning (lemon pepper, lemon zest) the flesh for adding to recipes as lemons, or water, or tea.

I know!!! It's crazy! BUt I love them so much!

I think I've already spotted a cockerel, but I am not certain. When I gave them treats, s/he was taking the treats, dropping them, and walking away when the other chicks gathered around... JUST LIKE A ROOSTER! 0.0
 
I am starting my first BYC adventure! I ordered 15 Barred Rock's that will be here in about a month! I live in SW OK! Glad I found this forum and do excited to start my BYC adventure

Welcome! I have kept chickens for 4 years now and I love them more than ever. Chicken folks are also some of the nicest people I have met too.

ameraucana babies are some of my favorites- beards
 
I think I might have some brain damaged chickens, they run in and out all day long but when dark comes they all geather up in the corner of the yard and i have to put them in one at a time. any suggestions? Richard
