Robyn, where is the crack located? If it is at the air sac end, the egg should be fine for these last few days. If it is along the side and the egg is leaking, you can use a thin coat of melted wax along the crack to seal it. Another strategy is to use a little super glue and a piece of tissue.

just popped a hatching faverorolle egg under ebony- micro serama, she got the funniest look on her face, listening to the little one cheeping and hatching! don't dare try to take that from her now!LOL! she has been broody twice, this time going on 6 weeks- the girl deserved a baby-



and i have a silky broody and another serama- might give them each an egg too... my goodness girls!!

We have a broody too, Thing 2, one of the hoodas. She is a mean broody, Gary has to take out the unmarked eggs everyday and she keeps leaving peck / pinch marks on his arms, he really needs to wear long sleeves when he does that.
